my nokia e71

well, this mobile device has been in my dream several times, but i still can not afford this thing.

but one day, when HP (Hewlett-Packard) Team invite my team and i, they have a lucky draw session that gives a lot of door prize, and luckily, i got HP iPAQ 912c, it is a mobile device, with qwerty keyboard, built in GPS receiver, windows mobile 6.1, HSDPA 7.2 mbps. well it is a great device, but, where is the navigation? the GPS receiver only equipped with Google Map? what a poor device, such a high end device with minim software. and the battery, it only last for 12 hours!!

then i decide to sell it. i went to Mall Ambassador to sell it, but, it just out of my prediction, a new device that just launched by HP several weeks ago, has no one that interested to it, no body wanted to buy it!!

until one day, i found a gadget shop that only sells PDA related things, and anything that using windows mobile as the OS. i contacted this shop by phone and asked if i wanted to sell my HP iPAQ 912c. do you know what they said? "sorry, i have 2 HP iPAQ 912c since it was announced by HP, but until today, i can not sell it. if you still want to sell it, the price might dropped as much as 30%", it means, from new HP iPAQ 912c market price, which is around USD 600, dropped to USD 400. unbelievable, but i asked again, how about a trade with Nokia E71? well, after a few minutes discussion, they accept the transaction, finally, i got my new White Nokia E71.

first thing first, i installed all of my main apps, such as, mail for exchange, gmail, messenger software, and some games.

i did not read the manual, but i like to watch the tutorial that more helpful.

after a few days, i found that some function is not working in this device.

one of them that i really want to be available is "easy dialing".

i found this function should exists from: 

Menu --> Help --> Tutorial --> Calling --> Easy dialing

i really disappointed with Nokia when i send them an email regarding this, and they said: "This function is not available in Indonesia", but how cam it is not available while in their site in 

http://www.nokia.co.id/A41177238 and then go to: 

"Panggilan" --> "Menyambung dari layar awal". 

it clearly shows how to make an easy dialing in Indonesian, but how come it can not be done with my Nokia E71, although i have upgraded it to new firmware (110.07.127).

in the end, until today, i keep waiting for new firmware update for Nokia E71. hopefully Nokia will be able to make a software update that make this function working on my device.
